in-utero-sales
We are proud to offer the option of an In-utero contract on our breeding mares.
We will breed our mare to the stallion of your choice. If you decide to breed the mare to our own stallion the breeding fee as well as the insemination fee/ vet fees for the mare before birth of foal will be waived for you.
If you choose an outstanding stallion you have to pay only the breeding fee- no insemination fees.
There is a LFG for you and if the mare does not deliver a healthy foal that stands and nurses, the breeding will be repeated for you. The foal is yours when the foal is born and healthy. We will take care for the foal until it is weaned, which will be between 4 and 6 months of age. You are only responsible to pay for all of the foal's veterinary bills, farrier, worming etc. we will not charge for board and feed.
We cannot guarantee the foal's sex or color, but we guarantee a top quality, healthy, happy and beautiful foal as that is what we are primarily strive for. The buyer decides during that 72 hour window if this is the horse for him.
After the foal is born, the buyer is responsible for any desired insurance for the foal. The foal will be imprinted, learn to lead, stand for vet and farrier and have a good groundwork education. The buyer will also receive a halter and lead rope with their purchase. The foals will receive regular vet and farrier care.
The mare receives wonderful, regular care and we give periodic updates to the buyer on her progress. Our mares are well fed and receive regular vet, dental, and farrier care. The buyer is more than welcome to come and visit the mare at any reasonable time. If the potential buyer backs out of this contract before the foal hits the ground, we will keep 50% of this deposit and will refund the other 50% to the buyer.
50% of the price for the foal must be paid before mare is covered. The other 50% are callable 75 hours after birth of the foal.
